TORONTO - Ontario will become the first province in Canada to force big chain restaurants, convenience stores and grocery stores to post calorie counts on all their menus including menu boards in a bid to fight the growing problem of obesity.
If client have easy access to the caloric information about foods they are about to order they will make better decisions.
This type of legislation has seen lots of success in large cities like New York in the united states.
